Have you done anything nce for yourself today or do you plan to?

Since I live alone you would think everything I do is for myself but other than taking care of myself with things like showering and making my meals it seems like I'm always doing something for someone else. Doing something for yourself isn't easy when you have kids and I remember those days only too well. I do consider the time I spend earning money on the internet something I do for me because I get the money. Just now, getting ready for work I gave myself a quick manicure and that was for me!
Have you done anything today just for yourself? If not are you planning to do anything? They say we should do something nice for ourselves at least once a week....do you?

We went to my hubby's work christmas party last night and I did somethings nice for myself before we went. I gave myself a pedicure and a manicure and took a lot hot bubble bath and lathered myself with cream. I then curled my hair and put on my make-up which I only do when I go out. I got dressed up very nicely and i felt really good about myself. I haven't dressed up in a long time and it felt good. The only problem was I have gained a few pounds so my slacks were just a tad tight. I will have to do something about that after christmas and lose a little weight.

Anything nice for myself today? Hhhmm.. not that I can remember of, but I guess of not eating too much because I can see my weight has gain a lot this past few days. I eat whatever I see or feel like eating. This lunch I had not much and I’m planning not to east dinner, just something to munch. Hehe.. I guess that’s the nicest thing I ever done to myself. I always tell myself not to eat and not to eat.

what i have done today is i went to church with my family to give back thanks to our Almighty God for the year that he had give me and pray for a good one this coming year. It's our yearly thanks giving. Well i think that's the nice thing i did today.

I think the closest thing I do that counts for just me is I try to read alittle each day. Other than that I pretty much do for others. Even the money and points I make online I usually use for groceries or gifts.

Well i dont understand exactly what you mean, so you are happy you offered yourself a manicure?
Anyway, what i have wanted for quite some time was organize a daily trip to the countryside, with a couple of friends, or even more if possible.We would take our cars, 2 or 3 or 4 depending on amount of people, visit a specific place in my country where the view is astonishing and the scenery fascinating.We would stay to sightsee, then have lunch at restaurant and return at night.It doesnt sound really too much, but it is, because we cannot organize our schedules, and either way it isnt very close, about 300kms away from here.

i agree with you so much!~
i think everyone should treat oneself well,then you will have a wonderful life and then you could do something else good,good for relatives ,for friends and etc...
whether you are a man or a woman ,life is balanced. the only thing we can choose is just do as ourself and give the chance for ourself to enjoy the life.~:)

Well two days ago i got a brand new haircut,so today i am going to the store to get some gell for my hair,because i got it cut very short in a spikey cut and i plan to shampoo and fix my hair real nice today.We have a christmas/birthday party to go to tonight so today i will focus on getting things ready and also myself ready for the party tonight.

I am going to take a hot soak in the bath and soak my aching sore feet. My son is at a friends place tonight and staying over so I am home alone. My hubby is away overseas for work in Thailand and I am on my own LOL I miss my son already!

I actually sat down in my living room and ate breakfast this morning while enjoying a good movie that I had been putting off watching for a couple of months. It was very nice and peaceful as I sat there watching the dawn breaking, enjoying a couple of cups of coffee. That is something that I don't do nearly often enough.

Hi ctry,...I haven't done anything nice for myself in quite some time...but now that you mentioned doing it, I think I'll go out and buy myself a small bouquet of flowers.
I haven't had much money over the last few months so it's been hard to treat myself.
Now that winter is here, and I'm finally working some decent hours again, I'll have to do just that. Thanks for reminding everyone to do something fun once in a while. I like having pretty flowers on the table in the middle of winter.
