our wedding colours?

December 15, 2007 12:59pm CST
so me and william have decided on a colour scheme for our wedding. were thinking red and black. we decided as we dont want an overly traditional wedding, and we think that kind of colour scheme will make it more invividual. plus they are our favourite colours, the combination is known to work aswell. plus i have seen a dress that i love, it isnt mega traditional. its a cross between a prom dress and a formal dress. i shall post photos or a link to it if people are interested in seeing the dress im thinking of getting. well the dress i have my heart set on. hehe. vicky xxxxx

You're going with your away colours? No offence but red? well that's your choice, It's sure contrast colour especially for a wedding but it depends on how red it is. No blood stained red, right? well black would be cool, I mean william won't look different. Bonus for him ~Joey

Oh my brother and vicky support a team called "blackburn rovers".. The away coulours, are what they wear when they play away games. just happen to be black and red. :)

Black and red are my favourite colours, roo. And I found a reception room that's already in those colours. But I'm *extremely* superstitious and I just couldn't stand the thought of black at my wedding. We're using seafoam green and ocean blues with red rose and silver accents,

Personally I feel that if you both really like the color scheme of red and black go for it. The wedding is for the both of you and nobody else. If others say why those colors, just expain that it's your wedding and your going to do whatever you want. I know when i get married i'm do ing the color scheme the way I want and nobody is going to tell me not to. Just because your colors are not traditional makes no differnce. You only get married once (hopefully). Make it the best wedding celebration the both of you can have. Congrats on getting married and good luck with everything.
