Okay this is a decent subject I feel as it pertains to my first time experience as a payings guest. I am wondering, how many people have been to see a local Orchestra in concert in their area? I lived for many years a few blocks from the Minneapolis Orchestra Hall and never once atteneded a concert there. I did swim/wade in their fountain many a times drunk but never went to a concert. Have you ever been to an Orchestar Concert? Do you e=njoy classical music? What Orchestra have you see? Myself I went for the 1st time as a paying guest today (Sat) with my wife for a show. A discussion will follow about it. The spund in the Hall was fabulous as it should be for an Orchestra. You could pick out an individual insturment and hear just that the acoustics were that great. Many years ago as an accordian player I did get to perform with the Detroit Philharmonic as a child. That was back in 1963 when I was 9. Have you ever performed in or with an Orchestra this size? HAHAHA! Looking forawrd to your responses. Thanks. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I do enjoy classical music, although not as much as those who are around me. (such as my father) I haven't seen a local Orchestra or classical band for awhile, my grandfather used to take myself and my older brother on weeks every so often to see them. It's something I'd love to do from time to time, last one I actually heard was earlier in this year. (during my vacation) Kudos ~Joey

I listen to a classical radio station in my car. I turn it up really loud and the wife hates that. But yet at the Orchestra Concert the music was very loud. Go figure. HAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I went there once in school on a field trip, but it really isn't my cup of tea so I haven't been there since. I've never played an instrument either, although I would like to learn to play the piano. That's cool that you got to perform with the DP! I bet that was an amazing experience for you! :)
