I was wondering which would be the best phone to get. They are both prepaid and both made by the same company. Just looking for a little insight. Anything you know would be a big help.
Thanks in advance!!

My cousin has TracFone and he is happy with it. I have 3 friends that switched to Virgin Mobile Pre Paid because they have an unlimited night and weekend plan that comes with 300 day minutes all for a flat fee. Virgin Mobile is owned and runs on the Sprint network.

Thanks Howard. I don't think I'll try Virgin Mobile because personally I can't stand Sprint. lol!!

Tracfone tends to be better as an emergency phone, than as a phone for actually talking. Their prices per minute are more expensive, but the minutes take longer to expire. If you're going to be talking enough to need new minutes before they expire anyways, go with Net10. If you won't be using it as often, go with Tracfone.

I had a tracfone for along time and I liked it alot. I used it alot so I kept on having to buy more airtime. After looking at the Net10 phone I would go with that because the minutes are a better price than the tracfone. Right now I have a virgin mobile which I like alot. I just think I would go over my minutes with a regular monthly cell phone that why I go prepaid.

Thanks for that info. I am leaning a little more toward the Net 10 than the Tracfone because Tracfone's calls are 25 cents a minute and Net 10 is only 10 cents a minute. That sounds like the better deal.
Appreciate it!!

Net 10 is good. I have one, yes, the minutes are much cheaper. Also, you get 300 free minutes when you buy the phone. Some Net 10 phones you get the 300 free minutes immediately upon activation, and other phones you get 100 bonus minutes with the first 3 minute/airtime cards you add. If the phone you choose has the second option mentioned for your free 300 minutes, they will still start you out with 10 minutes and 2 months service to hold you over till you get your first airtime card added.

Thanks Betsy!! That sounds like it would be of more use to me. I am just trying to find something that will have a signal most anywhere I go in my state. I went online and it said that they don't have coverage in my city, but I know for a fact that they do work here.
Thanks again!!

I had a Tracphone for a long time and it actually seemed to eat up the money fast. I just gave my 14 yr old daughter a net10 and have only had to put money on it twice in a month unlike the trac whick was once a week if not more
