Peace on Earth Good Will to Men

I dont think that this has ever rang true has it ? History is jam packed with war war war. Especially American history. Also in the middle east, they have been always at war with eachother. Come move to canada, we are at peace for the most part. We dont have an army, we have peace keepers :) carefull of the hippies though. its practically legal to smoke pot here, maybe that's why everyone is so mellow. *giggle*

Hi sweet, The only way we can ever have peace is by knowing Jesus Christ. We can have true peace in our hearts by knowing our Lord and Savior. One great Day, all evil will be totally destroyed and Jesus will reign with His children for all eternity. Just keep Jesus close to your heart. God bless:)

Hi sweetaspie52, Yes, I believe that peace on earth and good will to all is indeed possible. I know that many will disagree with me but I don't think that we really have a choice. A hundred years ago the world was a big place and few paid attention to what was happening in other countries. Today we are neighbours and must learn to live as such if we are to survive. I don't know how long it will take, or how it will come about, but I feel that someday there will be peace and goodwill. Blessings.

Before the birth of the Lord Jesus, only the Israelites are the chosen people or children of God. He sent His Son to save the world which means that salvation is already also given to the Gentiles, no longer only to the Israelites. God is sending His peace on earth and welcomes anybody who want to belong to His fold. Trouble will always be here on earth but if we become children of God in Christ, we would have peace.

Again? Was there ever peace on earth? As long as people are around there will always be conflict. People in their own families don't get along. How can anyone expect peace among everyone else?
