Do you put your internet in top priority for bills you pay? If you were having problems paying another bill would you put internet above that? Or would you be ok with not having internet for a while?

of course, internet is one of my top priority bills. i manage a lot of things over the internet. but utilities and other financial obligations go along with it as well. i try to keep all bills paid on time anyway :)

With me I'm working online to help pay some of my other bills. Even if I can just cover my internet or phone by working online, I'm eliminating at least one bill by keeping my internet paid. And yes I too would be lost without the internet, but it can happen sometimes you lose your internet. What's funny is the last time was offline for a while when I came back I was missed by a lot of people and they had paid me for services and I had more money come in while I was offline than when I was online.

Amusingly enough, just today I used money I had already set aside for a credit card payment to pay my internet instead. So I guess you could say that I do put the internet bill as my top priority. But of course, I manage all my finances online, as well as earning income to supplement my husband's. Also, it keeps me from going crazy, sitting around the house all day. So my internet is pretty important.

In the sense to manage my sites and do some of my work, yes. (web hosting/ designer) without the next paid and taken care of I'd be unable to do those so yes. I'd put the internet over the tv or phone, pretty much at the top. although not above council tax or water rates or my rent. ~Joey

Yes, maintaining an internet connection is a priority for me. Most of my income comes online. Without online access, I wouldn't be able to pay the rest of my bills. While the whole playing games, surfing the net, checking email thing is nice, it's not why I make sure that I have internet access. I could go awhile without those things if I had to, it's the income that's the necessity.

Internet is indeed one of my priority bills. It is becoming more of a necessity nowadays. And with the Internet, I feel more connected to other people, and admittedly, we learn lots of things through the web. Also, if I encounter problems with paying bills, I will definitely put it above the others because it is through the web that I get to earn extra income. And I cannot live without internet for a while.

I would never pay my internet bill before paying the rent, the mortgage or the electrisity bill. But other than that I put internet high on my list of things I want to pay for. Luckily I have a pretty good financial situation, so I am never in the position of having to put bills aside.

Yes, internet bill is one of my top priority bills to pay. It would be meaningless if all the other bills are paid but not the internet bill. I would really feel hapless if I can't get on the internet even for just one day. LOL!

Definitely - we would probably pick internet over heat. You can always throw on a blanket, but without internet service we'd feel fairly stranded.
