I want to install wordpress in my byethost account but its showing error.

I installed wordpress in my byethost account with fantastico and changed the wp-config-sample to wp-config..then i edited the contents of wp-config..my db name-b13_1333074_wordpress..my user name-b13_1333074..my password *******(hehe)..and my host name..but still shows error..can you help me?

i don't think you need to edit anything if you installed wp using fantastico. i've installed wp in my site using fantastico and i didn't edited anything with the config.

Fantastico should install and set it up automatically. What is the link to your site? Seeing what errors you are getting might help to define and solve the problem.

Uhm, as far as I know Fantastico is an automated installer. Just install it, then access from your site's blog root (e.g. http://blah.bytehost.com/blog) then you'll have a setup screen. I'm not pretty sure, but that's how my automated Wordpress installations are working.
