Do your animals - dogs or cats seem to enjoy Christmas?

Do your animals like the holiday season - do your kids sneak them cookies and other holiday fare? Do they crazy on Christmas morning because of all the wrapping paper and ribbon about? Do they get their own doggie and kitty stockings?

My sister's cats seem to understand that it is time for cat nip, their Christmas gifts. They are all old enough that they don't attack the Christmas tree anymore but they seem to investigate it.

That's pretty cool, they know the cat nip is theirs! Its also good their mellow enough now not to mess with the tree. So do you spend Christmas with your sister?

We give our kitties stockings, but they don't seem to have a clue what's going on until they hear the dingle of the little balls with bells in there. That's the bit they like. They also like to chew on the Christmas tree and wrapping paper and ribbon, especially when I'm trying to wrap things!

Aww, kitties always want to 'help' with things like wrapping. I hope you and your kitties have a very merry Christmas! This is my first with my baby!

You should try getting one of those little laser light pens. You have no idea how much my two adore just chasing a little red dot around!

I'm sorry he's passed - your old dog - but happy you got to share your life with him for a time. I'm glad your furry family enjoys christmas too!

My kitties tend to enjoy Christmas even before it gets here. It has gotten to the point that we can't even put the presents under the tree until Christmas Eve. They have this tendency to have the wrapping paper completely torn off before the kids can get to them. And stockings? Those have to be hung up very high, as my LittleBit has the ability to jump quite high and pull them down. Even so, the kitties still get their special crunchy treats on Christmas morning so that they don't feel left out of the festivities.

Yeah...my cheshire tends to freeze on his grin sometimes. It kinda creeps me out once in a while. LOL! But he's so cute I just can't make myself change him. We're to the point too that we don't dare put bows and ribbons on the presents because there's no telling where they will end up a couple of hours later.

Katlady, I only just realized your cat is the cheshire cat - I saw the smile only! I'm glad they get treats too! Its so funny that its the furry kids not the human ones who want to rip the wrapping paper off!
