With All The Recent Changes Here On myLot

are you Happy with what you are seeing? Or do you still think there is room for improvement? Overall, I am not sure what the Interest ratings really mean, and if they help our pay or not here. My pay here actually seems to have slowed down to less than a penny now per post I respond too, so I am wondering if more people are just giving up being in here or what?
Also read a recent post and comment that wished there was a way we could Block people from being able to respond back to us, etc. and also wish myLot would be a little more friendlier when it came to making complaints, etc. about someone or something. I know on other Social Networking sites the blocking feature is there, and it helps make the site a lot more friendly as well.
That I totally agree with too. I feel when you choose to hit "!" to a discussion, there is a reason, and there needs to be a better response time to there moving on that especially when there is more than one of us complaining about the same person or things on here as well.
These are just some of my thoughts. I know some may agree, or have other thoughts on this. Waiting to see what others here think, and wish that the owners here of myLot would read this discussion and maybe consider taking some of these things to Heart and making it a Good place to post and be in again.

Star rating is STILL broken. Its great being rated negative for really doing your best, having a different opinion, and contributing to REAL discussion.
The new interest ratings is alright, but a few interests were done poorly (science I'm looking at you).
Overall, I stay for friends, opinions and to help people out. Hopefully improvements will happen.

You made some excellent points here. It would be nice if they would make a better way for the ratings thing on here and such, but it could take some time for the owners of myLot to see what needs to be done and fix it. And as for your reasons you stick around, these are Great reasons, and one of the reasons I stick around as well.

I agree about changes needing to be made in here. I think there should be a way to block people also that start trouble. I am in another site that you can do that in. I am not real sure about the earnings in here either anymore. I am just now getting enough for payout. i hope at least this month. It has been July since my last payment.

I am glad you wrote on mylot to share some thoughts with us. I fully agree with you that they are paying less and less.
Secondly I have no suggestion regarding blocking members's comments if the respnder(or a person who initiates discussion) wishes.
Thirdly, regarding recent changes, I consider CHANGE IS ESSENCE OF ANY ORGANISATION. It may help some and it may not be helpful to others. But I believe it has been done in larger interest. REgards.

For about 6 months I was a little unhappy with My Lot. This is because earnings were so low & they were paying so little but expected a long response or discussion.
I am not sure if this new interest rating will increase earnings I not. It may be that they do, if one starts high level discussions & gives high level responses. But I just choose discussions from my friends, not by the interest rating.
I heard today that there have been recent bannings, but I dont know anything about them.

Well, actually me too, I dont know about the interest rating is for. But I believe that having it here means that mylot staff is really doing their best to improve mylot community. I dont know of the result of that ratings but for me, the fact that they are doing their best to is a big big thing to me. I stay here for friends, knowledge and little earnings i usually use to add for savings... Mylot is the best for me.

Very good points, I love Mylot, and I like the changes but I must admit I am very disappointed in their banning policy, I think if a matter is serious enough to ban someone then the matter should be looked into in a proper matter and fairness should prevail, an innocent until proven guilty shouls be the course...

I'm still not sure how I feel about the recent changes. There are other changes that I'd like to see here, like mylot really looking into posts before they're deleted, edit buttons, and an improved star rating system because my rating hasn't gone anywhere in months and it's getting old being stuck in the same position because I know my discussions are not that terrible. I just don't know what the deal is. I don't mind it here, but I'd prefer that things go in a different direction so more progress can be made.

There's always space for more improvements, so for me there will always be a space for such a thing.
What's been added are really basic and although they add to the site, nifty little functions and additions it's nothing special. It's a step in the right direction... I'm not sure about the interest rating either, seem pointless to get people to post more within the subject area just to be on the first page or afrer. it helps getting noticed but means swot.
