When is the best time of the year to Christmas shop?

Some say the best time to get your X-mas shopping done is the day after Thanksgiving, because of the sales. But, you know what? Maybe its just me, but, I really don't see that great of a sale on Black Friday. When exactly should you go shopping for the ones that you love? Any response is appreciated. Sincerely, Shattered Pocket Shopper

I like to go shopping all threw the year for Christmas. But I absolutely have to have it all done by November 15th. I hate going last minute shoppig and dealing with crowds and such. Ugh

For me there's no best time to shop for christmas because i do mine as early as March. I would take advantage of mall sales wherein you get to have discounts. It's nice too to shop that way because you're not in a hurry you can give extra attention to the items that you're buying unlike when your shopping in a rush. I just stock up all that i've bought and come November i go over them again and see what else is needed. It makes me save myself the hassle of rush and last minute shoppping that can be so frustrating sometimes.

I like to start a week before Halloween, when they just start to get ready for the chirstmas. You can start to find good deals then and don't have to fight through the lines on the streets and in stores.

I like to do my Christmas shopping in early and mid October. That way it isn't too early that you don't have an idea of what they want. Also it isn't so late that your scrambling around in a crowded mall with a feeling of panic. It makes my shopping alot less stressful.

i try to keep my eyes open all year round. i usually find the best sales just after christmas. that's when people return things they didn't want. stores clearance the excess of things that they ordered but couldn't sell. besides, so many people are in the return lines that the aisles are practically empty!

some say that it is the time when it is any festival . but i don't think so because nowadays people are not concerned about some special shopping. they are general minded and like to shop when they have neccesity and of course money

The time of the year when there are sales coz this is the time when we have lots of things for sale that is so affordable. Its not so advisable to shop weeks or days before chrsitmas coz the christmas rush is too stressful. I am part of the christmas this year coz I was not able to shop ealier unlike last year that I ahve started buying by mid july and starting gathering them all. I dont want this to happen next year Id better buy in advance for my own sake.

Early December for me, I still have to send over to Brazil. In Europe there is no big sale before Christmas - no Thanksgiving. In early December shops to have all the products for the season and there is not many customers buying, some are seriously looking though. I know people that found out the stores don't have the products promised to the kids and they are desperate, ebay has it for a 20 to 30% more.

The week after Christmas is the best. I know people who do Christmas in January after all the sales have gone. Then pick up some neat items as you find them in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Why? Because good buys come up often and some great stuff is available at rummage sales and craft sales. During the winter, the price of gas goes up, the weather is nasty (sometimes people get that way, too), and the rush/aggrivation isn't worth it. Most of the stuff I'm giving this year is from the week after Christmas last year and some craft sales as well as some regular store sales. Take care and happy shopping.
