my god i never really believed in miricles until now. im watching my grandson elijah playing and looking around on the floor right now and realized how much of a miracle he really is. he has fought to be in this world his whole life and hes only 6 months old. hes looking around in such wonder and laughing. hes such a happy baby. i dont know why im in this mood, i guess that i still cant believe hes survived being born 3 months early, heart surgery at 4 months, plus a mild bout with pnuemonia, and is still ok. sorry for the rambling. i just had to write it down.

You are right he sounds like a miracle baby.I know all about them my daught was a preemie born 2 monthe early. She stayed in the hospital for a month and when I look at her i feel the same way.God is good and you can really reflect how good when miracles such as your grandson come to pass.Thank God for allowing him to get through his hurdles and enjoy his precious life .All the best to you.

It makes you look at life differently, doesn't it. I am glad that he is happy, and doing well. He is a miracle.

Nothing to be sorry about. You are right he is a miracle. My grand daughter was a preemie and with my grandson my daughter was in the hospital for 2 months. Both now are happy beautiful kids. Her third baby she carried full term with no problems at all. The world through a childs eye is a wonderful sight. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy your miracle.

Hi peni88, I can only say god is great, he gives trouble and at same time give courage to fight with the problems. a baby who did not know any thing and had struggled so much and still happy with all. i think its a combination of modern medical sciences with the blessings of almighty god. Thats why we use to say "god starts thinking from where our thinking limit end".
