My daughter and I got into a discussion last night about actress Jessica Alba. I remarked that I have been a fan since back when she was doing the TV show Dark Angel. My daughter couldn't remember the show, but thought that she might have been a regular on the show Seventh Heaven. I disagreed with her, which led me to do a search on Jessica. I learned on Wikipedia that she was born on April 28, 1981. Her birthday is 5 days after mine. She was also a sickly child growing up. Her mother, who was a lifeguard got her into the water practically from the time she was walking. She became a certified scuba diver at a young age. She also graduated from high school at the age of sixteen. She got her first acting jobs as a child also-mostly doing commercials. I admire Jessica because she seems to be down-to-earth, unlike many of the young stars of today.
