My grandson has very thick hair. We have found that Selsin Blue shapoo to be the best and only shampoo to control it. I have read that listerene will help to control it too, but he won't try it. He dosen't like the idea of home remedies. I also have read that tree tea shampoo is good.

The only other thing i can think of is rinse out the shampoo quite a few times and even deep in the roots of your hair. If i don't rinse the shampoo out of my hair really well where my hair parts i get dandruff in my hair too. I don't think anti-dandruff shampoo is much different to normal shampoo, because with me and Joey normal shampoo gives us the same results with our hair. ~Joeys wife

hot oil.. however you need to use virgin coconut oil...after at least an hour of hot oil remove it by washing it with shampoo and rinse with clean water very well... i am not sure for other types of oils...
