Did you know that marijuana is one of the most studied plants on the planet? Were you aware that to date there have been no studies demonstrating any long term physiological health risks involved in the use of marijuana? Did you know that marijuana has been shown to fight lung cancer? Did you know coffee is more addictive then marijuana? Did you know that the gateway effect associated with marijuana actually has more of a tie to the fact that marijuana is illegal and if marijuana were legal the so called gateway effect would practically vanish? Did you know that marijuana was initially made illegal to try to curb Mexican and Black immigration as they were seen as the heaviest users of marijuana? Did you know that unlike other drugs marijuana actually encourages the growth of new brain cells? Did you know that several studies have shown that marijuana works well as an effective anti depressant? Did you know that several studies have shown drivers who are high generally performed better then even sober drivers (I am NOT advocating impaired driving)? Did you know that in the thousands of years man has been using marijuana there has NEVER been a single case of overdose? Did you know that a study showed that high school students who use marijuana casually actually are more social then non users, and they perform just as well on tests as their sober classmates? Did you know marijuana can help spread BSE (the human form of mad cow disease)? Did you know that marijuana is the #1 cash crop of British Columbia Canada, and that that money is all untaxed? Did you know that topical THC (the active ingredient in marijuana) is an effective allergy combatant? Did you know that sending an email drops your IQ (short term) lower then smoking a joint does? Did you know that in countries that legalized marijuana, marijuana use by teens actually drops?

Where did you get this and where is the proof? I have to agree with that last one, Its proably because it being banned makes it mysterious, and people are more inclined to be "rebellious" and try it. The one about sending an email is interesting too, why does it do that?

I write a blog at http://420-now.blogspot.com on this and this is basically just a coles notes versions of a variety of studies I have come across. There are much more detailed explanations on my site. As for the email one, my guess is that people tend to zone out, its not just emailing its texting as well.
