Help!!! Santa Claus dilemma!

I need some advice. My daughter asked from Santa Claus a particular doll that it is just not made (she wants a Megan doll, girl from The Haunted Mansion movie). I told her that Santa might just not be able to get her that since Ive never seen one. She insists that the elves can make anything. What should I do? Anyone come across this dilemma before?

It is so hard when they have their hearts set on something. I am not famliar with te movie so I don't know what Megan looks like. Have you tried one of those doll sites where you create a doll to look like your child? Maybe you can make one with the same traits. Is she old enough to fall for that? My son wanted a giant police helicopter so a family member couldn't find one and got a blue one and stenciled "police" on it. Of course he is only 3 so I am sure he will be happy with it.

I thought about that...I might just do something like that and let her know that this is a "one of a kind" doll made just for her. Thanks for the idea!

Oh wow! That's a hard one. Did you try searching movie memorabilia for Haunted Mansion? The only other thing to do is what the previous mylotter suggested...try to find one that looks as close as possible. Maybe Santa could leave a note saying that they ran out of the materials to make the doll she wants but hopes this one will make her happy?
