I have a two car drive way and I cannot afford to pay people to plow it out for me so I get out with a snow shovel and shovel it all by hand (along with my girlfriend and any one that wishes to help). We in the Northeast have been hit with a couple of good storms leaving about 18 to 24 inches of the white stuff over everything. do you plow out with a truck, snow blower or do it by hand?

We have a long driveway that you could probably park about 8 vehicles in, after last Feb. we have had the fore-thought to move the vehicles to the front of the driveway, near the street. Last Feb, the mustang stayed snowed in for about 9 days, lol not that I was going to be driving it anywhere lol. As for your question, we use a shovel, but we both share in the shoveling. I don't mind it as much as he does, of course it is still a novelty to me, this is only my 3rd winter up here, moved from Texas, he has lived here all his life.

I worked for a city in Ma. for 30 years where I plowed snow each winter. I think that I have had enough snow for my life time and then some. I am hoping to move to southern Texas in a few years, sooner if I can save enough money to do so sooner.

I moved here from Austin, but I lived in South Texas for over 20 years, Corpus Christi. I do miss the beach, however, I still look out the window after a snow and can't believe I'm living where snow is the norm this time of year. I lived in Texas all my life until my move here. I can understand you being tired of it, and people that have lived up here all their lives.
