I like her older stuff better, my favorites are, Material Girl, Like A Virgin, Rain, and Live to Tell is Awesome. She worked hard to make it with less talent then a lot of singers.

i think anybody can become a "singer" today. when she came out you had to actually have some talent.

personally im not a massive fan of madonna, but i do listen to some of her music. my favourite track would be 'live to tell'. i dont know why i like it so much really, but i do listen to it quiet alot. i think she has done well as an artist, and modern bands should take something from her, as she has lasted over nearly 3 decades now!

I don't really like Madonna, but she does have a few songs I really like. My favorite is probably "Take a Bow."

Well it used to be 'this used to be my playground' (i think that's the title...) because i loved the movie it was from (can't remember the name now...with geena davis) Then i really got into Like a Prayer, but then I bought the greatest hits album that has mostly 80s songs on it and I really love Get into the Groove and La Isla Bonita (i think that's the name of it haha!) As you can tell I'm not a huge Madonna fan but when that cd goes on in the car I sing my heart out and the people in cars around me must think I'm strange :-)

What? It's not on the soundtrack? But it's the most famous song form the movie!! Bummer. Is that song on any Madonna album? Oh, and I just replied to discussion again.. I didn't realise that I'd reolied to the same one months ago! As you can see, my favourite songs have changed a bit but are still basically the same/.

Like a Prayer and Papa Don't Preach definitely! You can just really let loose on those songs. I'm listening to the Immaculate Collection right now and I'm singing very loudly. My neighbours probably think I'm strange. The poor things often have to put up with my singing.

Live to Tell is a song that overcomes time. It´s timeless, her best ballad so far. There so much feelings in Madonna´s voice... Hands down. The version she sang for The Confessions Tour is one of her best.

i have loved madonna's music,i think she is one of the best female singers i have known. There are some songs which i have been hearing from my childhood and think will never forget. Some of them are "Take a bow","Secret","Like a prayer" and many more. But definetly even i think the 80's and early 90's song were better.

I like Madonna as an artist, she really innovates and pushed the boundary of pop music or culture. Her talent for singing is secondary to that. Thou a couple of songs are very worth like Into The Groove or Music.
