What is the scariest dream you ever had? Describe and tell me about your dream.

The only scary dream I can remember is one where I am at my parents pool. I am on the diving board and when I dive off I end up jumping 50 feet in the air. I then fall back towards the pool, it's extremely terrifying, and wake up as I am about to hit the water. The only reason I remember this dream is that I used to have it frequently when I was younger. I don't know why but I had it at least 7-8 times in my childhood.

When I was in my early teens, I remember having this same dream over and over again. In the dream (nightmare) I was an infant riding in a carseat in the backseat of a car. I was the only person in the vehicle. The car was rolling backward really fast down a hill...and that's all I ever saw in that one. What was scary about it was that it felt so real. I felt fear, big time fear during that one. I've often wondered what my subconscious mind was trying to tell me...if anything at all. Most of my nightmares are forgotten eventually...but that one will stick with me for the rest of my life, perhaps because it was a recurring nightmare and not just a one time thing. I'm sorry you had such a horrible nightmare! I hope you have sweet dreams when you fall asleep this time.
