Starting classes again in January!

With only one semester off, after becoming an LPN, I will enthusiastically begin my next journey toward RN. I am looking forward to being in a classroom setting again, and striving for excellent grades! It seems this New Year will be off to a great start. I will be taking a speech class and Human Anatomy and Physiology Part 1. The A&P lecture and lab will be online. I am slightly worried about the online classes because a teacher is not immediately available, if I have a question. But my chin is up, and I am ready to go... What classes are you taking next semester? And have you taken any classes online? Tell me about your experiences with it.

Yes, lucky enough to have been able to take the time off. I am still working, though. I will have a blast all the way up til the time school starts, and probably then some too!

Good for you! The subject matter I taught was not appropriate to online classes, but I've taught classes in a computer lab and was available to my students online, as I'm sure your online teacher will be also. It is possible that there will be more availability to your online teacher than to the other ones. Do not worry! You will do fine. Congratulations on taking the next step. You will have all the rest of your life to thank yourself for having made the right decision, I think.

I am from Ohio, and the school is Owens Community College. It's quite famous for my area, but I don't know further than that.

I hope you'll be a registered nurse soon! I haven't taken any classes online yet, in our college we only do some assignment online. When i do that it seems that the network in our campus can't work well and i have to hand in my assignment there several times. I don't have the experiences that can help you, but anyway best wishes to you. Good luck !

Thank you, Kianli! With only taking parttime classes, it may take a little while. I'm wishing for 2 years, but it could be 3. Teachers for these classes are extremely hard to come by, as we've heard. Thanks for your good luck wishes!

Jodi, I am so proud of you. I cannot even explain to you of how proud that I am. You are doing for me, what I always wanted to do, but for some reason could not get myself to finish. Your classes sound hard, but I have all the faith in the world. You'll do just fine. :-) (((hugs)))
