Pay for Poetry?

Anyone know of any sites that pay for poetry? I have some that I've written over the years, and they aren't doing me any good. My grandpa has been on me for years to publish them, but I don't know where to start. I don't have enough for a book, but I could make several contributions to a book of poetry.
If you have any suggestions- I'm open.

I know there is a competition site... www.poetry.com I think. However, why don't you try www.helium.com I have published a few of my stories online there & once I get the rest out of my storage container, I will be publishing the rest. You could also probaly try www.xomba.com too

I forgot to mention www.bloggersparty.com you could publish them as blog entries...some other bloggers have done that on this site

How safe is that?? I imagine once I type it, there is some sort of record so if someone tries to steal it, I would have some back-up? I just worry. It's not that they are that good or anything, but they are mine & I want to protect them.
