If you think that working mums become gloomy as a consequence of toiling both at office and home, you need to get your facts checked Women without children do not care about their working hours, while women with children are significantly happier if they have a job, regardless of how many hours it entails.

"If you think that working mums become gloomy as a consequence of toiling both at office and home, you need to get your facts checked " Hhhmm well being a former working mom and currently a retired SAHM I have to say that I am MUCH happier NOT working....I also know several working mums who would much prefer to NOT work but rather stay at home with the kids but since they are single or low income homes its not doable for them...It was the same with me..I HAD to work when my kids were little because I was a single mom...I hated it...So I would have to say that the FACT IS it depends on the woman and their situation..

Hello,bishu_sinha,I'm agree with your opinion, because when you have children you are responsbility and know the aim.But for my girlfriend she said being a mother she will out of jobs for caring about child. What she says I 'd like to agree too.Maybe it's the diffirence between our countries. In my country, women always leave their job for baby and then they will give themself into their children untill they were old enough.

I don't think that is a blanket statement that can be made about all women. Some moms with children are happy without needing a job to make them happy.

haha, this is from the perspective that they kinda just need to get away from the kids for some time every day is it? quite interesting. wonder what the mums will have to say about this. think you'll get a lively discussion. assume you have kids and have chosen to be a working mum? I don't have kids so shall reserve further comment. :)

I have checked My facts, and I have done both, and I am 100% happier staying home with my son than I ever was going to work. I'm not sure where your facts come from, but they certainly don't apply to me, a Very Happy SAHM.

I think so.In future,if my wife want to work,I will support her to do that.Anyway that is depend on her.I think it is very fair now,in China women often like to work. They also could do a lot work just like men do.If my wife is a good techer or others,I will be very proud of her.

hi it is good to know taht working mum are the happier ones. People have wrong idea that working women can't take care of her family. Also it is bad to know that most of the time working women have to leave the job after marriage and having children

I am glad to know it. It is a good news. As I am one of the working mums:) I try to spend my spare time with my child because I have to work in daytime. The weekends are also family day for me.

I miss working but my kids are more important right now- I suppose I could go back to work but I'm also a student- which would make me very tired and grumpy- if I did all 3 things.
