Tonsilitis

I am very heartbroken this morning because of i brought my daughter to the doctors for check up. And it found out that she has a tonsilitis. But it is only a mild tonsil. THis is her first time to have that. She was given antibacterial by her doctor. What other medications can you suggest. Help me to pray that she will get well soon. THank YOu in advance....

My daughter has had tonsilitis probably 30 times and shes 8. The next time she gets it I am going to have her doctor send her to another doctor to have them removed. Shes suffered to many times with this. I was at my cousins graduation party yesterday and my other cousin was telling me she was the same way when she was young how she would get tonsilitis all the time but no one would ever catch it from her. She said that it was because it was a kind of strep that she carried in her body that wasent contagious to others.

Well its a month later and I'm pretty sure my daughtee has tonsilitis again. I have to take her to the doctor to be sure but after this I am going to have her sent to a ear throat and nose specialist to have her tonsils out. This will be three times in the last three months that shes gotten it. Its weird ache gets it once a month for about 6 months then it goes away for 6 monthscand tuen it starts back.up again.

nah you can make her gargle lukewarm water with salt every morning... make her stay away from sweets muna :-) take care
