I read on some one elses discussion about responding on discussions with no response, so I thought I'd give it a try. Boy, its hard. I only found 4 discussions I could respond to. I went back to page 90 and some of the discussions are so bad I didn't have anything to say. I read some about UFO's, lawn mowers, hats, what color of flower you like best and so on. How do you respond to these? How long do these discussions stay on mylot site, Some were only 4 hours old, some were 4 days old. Do they stay here forever if no one responds to them?

I have tried to do this too, indeed some discussions are not easy to respond.Fells like they create topics just to get responses, not caring if the topic is dumb or anything. I dont know what happens if noone responds, i guess they stay forever till someone does.

Yes, I tried the same, and it's really hard...
I guess they stay there forever if nobody responds to it. I don't want to be mean, but if your discussions stays there forever without any responses, maybe (MAYbe) it's a boring topic...
I started one discussion once that took a long while to get it's first response, and I was really worried.
Has it ever happened to you?

i sometimes visit the section discussions with no answers. someday i find a few to nasw. Most of the days i rarely found any to answer from there. I also do not know how long they will be there. But i believe after a certain periods those are deleted by mylot.

I don't know if they stay there,but isometimes try to respond to discussion with no responses,but like you said it's hard there are maybe a fwe which are good but also some which i know they will not get responses for.

I know what you mean. Alot of post on here is not something I can respond too. I wish people would just post something simple instead of something compliacted. Excuse my spelling but I sometimes get lazy to correct my grammer well just this one anyways.

You raise some very good questions. I don't know how long these discussions stay open, if they get no responses. You went back to page 90? wow, you are a patient person. I always try to respond to some discussions with no responses but like you I have a hard time finding some where I can contribute something. I don't respond to those that are likely to be deleted such as "Do you like pizza" or what is your favourite colour? Mylot often deletes survey type of questions and questions without quality.

I wish I knew the answers to those questions myself. I try responding to some of them sometimes but, end up getting frustrated. I also wish I knew how long they stay on MyLot with no response. I have one discussion that has no response. I wish it would get deleted. Instead MyLot deleted a discussion of mine about my star going from a 10 to a 9. I had 42 responses on that discussion too! What gives?

Once again we seemed to be trapped it that famous question. How does Mylot work? I won't go on about how we all wish we knew what was going on. Anyways as you probably saw most discussions without a response are just bad discussions. Some are ridiculous subjects some are written in such poor english you have no clue what the person is even talking about. Personally I rarely go into those discussions just because it takes too long to find anything worth responding to. I would rather start a new discussion than answer useless ones.
