They mocked the prison guards

Did you read about the two prisoners that broke out of jail in New Jersey and then left a mocking note that says "Happy Holidays" to the guards? Now they are still free and being hunted by the authorities. I thought these kind of jail break only happens in movie and now it had happened for real?
