My daughter is in brownies and was wondering if there are other parents out there that do as well. She is looking for pen pals from all over the world and that is one of there badges. She is 7 and has tons of interests. Plus it is a good place to talk about different thinga baout brownies that concern you or you love about the girl scouting movement. I myself was in it as a young girl and I loved it i hope both my girls will enjoy it as much as i did. My 7 year old loves it...everything about it which is great. But anyways hope to hear from you all soon Mother of a brownie

My daughter is a Girl Guide, but I'm afraid since we are both from Canada that she woudn't make a very exciting pen pal. She was in Sparks for 2 years, Brownies for 2 and this is her first year as a Guide. I am actually her Guide leader since the other leader had to quit. I went all through Brownies, Guides and one year of Pathfinders myself. I really enjoyed it all and my daughter loves it. Is this your daughters first year in Brownies?

MY boys all went out and got girls and now I have 2 Grandaughters. They live in Seattle Wa. and I don't get to see them very often. I'm in South Texas now and thats about 2000 miles away. I go back to Ontaro in the summer and thats also about (more of less) 2000 miles. Seems I can win no matter where I live!Anyway I think they will come for a visit one of these days. Do they have Brownies in the US. Scouts were started by a Brit? Am I right?
