My fiance and I usually go together but when I do go by myself, I think I put the money to better use. He comes home with frozen meals and pre-packaged things while I tend to buy more ingredients to make things with. I'm also really good at bargain hunting and finding things on special. What's it like in your family?

Both my husband and I shop for groceries and always together. The only time either of us shops alone is when we're just running to grab that one missing ingredient, lol! We both share the same type of eating habits, so I'm sure that we'd shop the same seperately as we do together (although, he'd bring back a lot more snacks!). We're also both bargain hunters.

My hubby and I go grocery shopping together quite a bit. But that's when we spend the most money. Like your significant other, my hubby buys all this prepackaged stuff like meals and snacks or frozen entree's. I usually end up putting most of them back because I can make the saem stuff for half the price a lot of times. He doesn't really look at the prices or the bargains so I ususally do all of the big grocery shopping on my own.

I am the main grocery shopper in my household. Both my husband and I hate to shop, but since he has a job that pays and I don't, I figure it's the least I can do. Plus if I left it up to him we'd probably starve! LOL However he has gone shopping for us every now and then, like when I'm too sick to go. Though I usually have to complain about how sick I am before he is willing to do it. :P

I'm usually the one who does the grocery shopping.
Though now that my hubby just went back to third shift we'll probably start doing the shopping together. I'm not working at the moment and I don't want to go out in the middle of the night shopping and bringing in a bunch of food - cause we don't have a garage.
Along time ago - before I worked at Walmart - we use to go grocery shopping together all the time. We don't like doing things apart...so he'd go with me.

I am the main grocery shopper in this family.Sometimes my husband will go with me and sometimes if he does he will add a few things that are not necessary, but most of the time i will go alone.I think i also put our money to better use as well.I will buy bargains also and i do make things rather than buy ready made, i think homemade is much better.I always keep a few frozen pizza's on hand for a quick meal because my husband likes them them a lot and it is good when you do not have time to cook, but we buy a certain kind that is really good...

My husband is the main grocery shopper, mainly because I hate going to the grocery store. He tends to go and spend a lot of money, but brings back not that much, you know? Like, he buys food, but like chips and crap like that. I want stuff you can make a meal out of, so I buy ingredients. He buys pre-packaged stuff too. He does buy ingredients, but not as often as I would. Maybe I should start doing more grocery shopping. Ha ha.

Hun and I go together... I make all the choices because I know what I'm capable of for the next week or so. Sometimes its cook from scratch, sometimes its convenience foods. After all these years, we have a good idea of what we'll need, so it doesn't take too long.
When that part is done, he goes through checkout and loads the car... while I start my nap. That way, I'm refreshed on the 30 minute ride home, and after he unloads I can put everything away and fix us something to eat. Its a good system for both of us.
