Do you ever have one of those days...

You know...where everything annoys you even more? Or things that are very slightly irritating - or not at all suddenly very definitely are? And more things happen on these days...like the toilet paper roll - you can't start it - and wind up shredding a whole bunch of it and your try to get it on its ring and it keeps falling? Or everything drops? Ever have one of those days - and no - I don't mean that time - just days you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and want to go back to sleep...

annoying toy - Like this thing. .
I have those days often. Being pregnant makes EVERYTHING irratating. I nearly lost my mind babysitting through christmas, The little girl i babysit has TONS of those STUPID singing xmas toys, you know those loud annoying things that sing carols, and dance, or move at least. OMG I locked them in her parents room everyday when i got there. lol They said i was mean, but its better then the alternative isn't it!! me stabbing them and feeding them to the dog! lol.

Omg I so remember that! I had my only two big fights with my husband then - or I tried, he remained calm and un passionate. One was about WAlmart and one about Hitler. I remember reading about the sweat shops and getting so pissed. Much more then usual, so I called my poor husband up to ask if he would use a sweat shop given the chance and he said "I don't know" and I was like you must have some idea. "Maybe if it would save some money" he finally admitted, I pounced on that but his reply was - well the governments of those countries allow it - besides what's the exchange rate?I hated my husband's answers to my 'I don't think I can take this" about my migraines and nausea - he's say, trying to be helpful, millions of other women have, you can too. lol. He tried. He even cooked when not on TDY. And when I was put on bedrest my last two weeks he helped with the house. And he always brought my favourite foods home when he went shopping or he'd go across town for pad thai.

I remember those days. I had - or tried to have - my only arguments with my husband - one was about Walmart and sweatshops and one about hitler. Everything irritated me. Including his answers to my comments about my migraines and nausea - he thought he was being helpful by saying, " millions of other women do it, you can do it too." But it irritated the heck out of me. He was very helpful though - I got too nauseaous shopping - at WAlmart - with all the smells - so he'd go and bring back yummy stuff. Or if I got a craving he'd go 'cross town to get Pad Thai.

I just hate it when my long crepe bandage gets unwinded and I have to struggle to roll it back. Of late I have to use it often for some ankle problem and its getting increasing annoying.

That does sound annoying. So on the days you wake up on the wrong side of the bed - the days when things are more irritating - is the crepe bandage unwinding even more annoying? BTW I hope your ankle gets better soon - did the doctor say what's wrong with it?

it happens 5 days out of 7 with me. its terrible. i have a broken leg and an injured left hand so it happens way to often. its just the frustration coming with it that annoys me. i just cant get used to it. when the first thing goes wrong, it seems to snowball.

Zorrogirl - I can totally understand. You don't have the same mobility, you're likely in pain and maybe itchy underneath the casts or splints. Plus if the doctor has you on pain killers that can make you grumpy too. What happenend?

Well I'm certainly annoyed. I was told to expect a delivery via UPS and it was supposed to come today. Now I always make a point of getting out of the apt. everyday...just to break routine and get some fresh air in my lungs, also it just plain puts my mood better and for some reason feel more energized. I hate staying home all day..for some reason I feel more tired or something...like it's only 9 pm now which isn't that late, and I'm ready to crawl into bed...actually wanted to crawl back into bed all day...LOL. Didn't help that it was a dreary, overcast day either. I forced myself to keep active so wouldn't feel tired. But was annoyed at my lack of energy, was annoyed that I just didn't seem to get anything specific done..and MOST of all, annoyed NO END that, guess what? The delivery didn't come, and is to be rescheduled for tomorrow...well, just hope I'm home when the delivery does come cause I do have things planned and have to go out!

Oh that's so frustrating. I remember in my single days, taking days off of work for someone to hook up something - phone, cable, or to fix something and they call me at the end of the day to say oops - sorry - we'll just have to come tomm. That's just fine but can you pay me my lost wages for the day? I heard that the Post Office had to hire more people over the holidays. I hope that's why my mother in laws package didn't come - over ten days ago she sent a package with a three day guaranteed delivery. She insured it but only up to a hundred dollars and she put more then that in there. Plus she spent a lot of time and effort shopping for presents for the baby. So its not just the money but the time that went into it and the thought. Frustrating. I can certainly understand why your day was frustrating - so do you have to wait around tomm too?

oh my goodness i know exactly what you mean and i have those days very often, where il just wake up and am instantly clumsy and trip over things that have been in exactly the same place for years, spill things, break things that are supposed to be indestructable etc...
