This was sparked by another thread on the topic..unfortunately the quiz type thing was hard to understand in some areas as it was translated from another language so I decided to find another one and post it...First let me share what an Indigo Child is.. "....These are the children who are often rebellious to authority, nonconformist, extremely emotionally and sometimes physically sensitive or fragile, highly talented or academically gifted and often metaphysically gifted as well, usually intuitive, very often labeled ADD, either very empathic and compassionate OR very cold and callous, and are wise beyond their years. Does this sound like yourself or your child? Indigos have come into this world with difficult challenges to overcome. Their extreme levels of sensitivity are hard to understand and appreciate by parents who don't share this trait. Their giftedness is unusual in such high numbers. Their nonconformity to systems and to discipline will make it difficult to get through their childhood years and perhaps even their adult years. It is also what will help them accomplish big goals such as changing the educational system, for instance. Being an Indigo won't be easy for any of them, but it foretells a mission. The Indigo Children are the ones who have come to raise the vibration of our planet! These are the primary ones who will bring us the enlightenment to ascend..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To find out, ask yourself these questions: You can do this for yourself or your child etc...(the answers here are about myself, I already knwo about my kids) Did your child come into the world acting like royalty? - UNKNOWN Does your child have a feeling of deserving to be here? - YES Does your child have an obvious sense of self? - YES Does your child have difficulty with discipline and authority? - LOL YES Does your child refuse to do certain things they are told to do? - YES Is waiting in lines torture for your child? - SOMETIMES Is your child frustrated by ritual-oriented systems that require little creativity? - YES Does your child see better ways of doing things at home and at school? - YES Is your child a nonconformist? - YES Does your child refuse to respond to guilt trips? - LOL YES Does your child get bored rather easily with assigned tasks? YES Does your child display symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder? - NO Is your child particularly creative? - YES Does your child display intuition? - YES Does your child have strong empathy for others? - YES Did your child develop abstract thinking very early? - UNKNOWN Is your child very intelligent? - SOMEWHAT Is your child very talented (may be identified as gifted)? - YES Does your child seem to be a daydreamer? - YES Does your child have very old, deep, wise looking eyes? - APPARENTLY Does your child have spiritual intelligence? - YES If you have more than 10 yes answers, he or she probably is an Indigo. If more than 15, almost definitely. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I scored I think a 17 which doesnt surprise me to be honest with you....I actually have a couple of books on Indigos that a gf had bought me a few yrs ago after meeting my kids but sadly I've not had the time to read them..LOL they're actually on my "to read" list for 2008 :-D

You know, I've never heard that term before, which is surprising, because I fit almost every single one of those parameters. I've never been accused of having ADD before, and waiting in lines doesn't bother me because I make up stories about the people around me, but everything else fits. I had a teacher in high school that called me "Raskolnikov" (from Crime and Punishment) because I thought my intelligence meant I could do whatever I wanted. I still say it's all my family and therapist's fault for telling me about my IQ scores when I was young and impressionable. :P

People's called me one before, and by all discriptions I am...they say Indigo kids have some big purpose in the world..and usually go through lotsa angst. They say there's levels above Indigo too, like Cystals. Crystals were supposed to come after Indigos have been around a little while (which they have). Said to be wise children, like small sages. I don't know what to think of it all, really. Anything's possible, though.

HI Ravenladyj, I had no idea what an indigo child was before reading your post. It is most interesting, and I did make the 12 mark. I guess I should read up on the subject. What's the story on Indigo children bringing enlightenment? Happy new year my friend. Blessings.

I have read a few books on the subject, and believe all three of my children show high possibility of being Indigos of one type or another. I think the subject is very interesting, and found some of the suggestions provided in the books to be incredibly helpful in dealing with my children, especially when it comes to school work and authority figures.
