So what's everyone's favourite Black Books quote?
It's a toughie, but I'd say one of my top quotes is:
Mannie: Do you think I should wash my beard?
Bernard: I think you should, yeah. You should wash your beard, then shave it off, nail it to a frisbee and fling it over a rainbow

Just ONE quote?! I love this show and this bit from early in season 1, and they way it's played, sums up the premise of the misanthropic store owner and his sweet innocent assistant so well:
Bernard: What do they want from me?! Why can't they leave me alone?!
Manny: Well, they want to buy books.
Bernard: But why ME?! Why do they come to ME?!
Manny: Because you sell books.
Bernard: Yeah...
