Maybe, you have already heard someone telling you not to listen to rock music especially heavy metal songs cause they say those songs are for the Prince of Darkness. What can you say about this? I don't listen to heavy metals. Are slow rock music somewhat excused? Thanks to those who would shed me some light.

rock has a lot of categories, slow rock, hard rock, pop rock, heavy metal and a lot more.... me myself cant really know how to explain the categories lol. well it depends of the type of music you really want to hear. i love aerosmith's kind of rock, i also like red hot chili pepper's rock style, and a lot more of rock bands. slow rock is not an excused but it still depends on the peoples type of music.

Thanks, I also love aerosmith songs and that of Jon Bon Jovi's plus those other slow rock music. But I am just wondering what of all those categories is not that advisable to hear, maybe heavy metal but as you've said, it depends on the person's type of music.

I dont think so they are bad at all, as its just the way you look at it. There are time's when you like to hear slow or soft music, but there are time's where in these rock music just cheers you up, those head banging stuff is somthing which is amazing.

I love some slow rock, but sometimes I really enjoy the heavy metal music.they can offer me energy, and through those violent voices,I can let my anger or sadness release. So it's unfair to say it's good or not to listen rock music.
