Hobby that I Enjoy...I Enjoy Religion?! Religion a Hobby?

Since when would one consider that religion is a hobby? If when for example I started joining different religions (Islam,Hindu,Shinto) and attending their community? This must be a joke,no offense to anyone, but categorizing religion under hobby! Imho, persons join a religion not just for pastime or because they enjoy it there. They join because,a religion gives them a deeper understanding of what they seek. It completes a lack of or vacuum in one's life. I maybe wrong or just too straight. Correct me if I'm wrong or better yet give your point of view.
