Would you like to see David James back for England ?

David james had been england goalkeeper in the past but had been replace by Paul robinson now . From his form in portsmouth i think he get england number 1 shirt back after all paul robinson , scott carson and ben foster don't seems to deserve the shirt .

David James IMO has been the best performer by an English goalkeeper this season. He at least deserves a chance, unlike Robinson and Carson, from what I have seen of James this season he has been very solid and very confident. I think James is over his "Calamity" period and has settled down as a very study goalkeeper.

I think it really is a chance now for England to look ahead and look for the goalkeeper of the future. I think Carson was a good choice, only he was bred in at the wrong time. It was wrong of McLaren to give his debut in such crucial match. I think England do have dearth of great goalkeepers currently and need to start looking around to see what is the best that is available. Cheers! Ram
