Which Do You Prefer? ALMOND or VANILLA Extract

I personally think Vanilla extract is WAY TOO OVERUSED!! You can find it in nearly every recipe and it drives me insane. I love Almond extract. Anyone else share my opinion?

I use both vanilla and almond extract. I use a good vanilla though not imitation.I also use orange,lemon.peppermint and raspberry extract a lot.I make a chocolate raspberry cake that is really yummy.

Yeah, you should ALWAYS go for the real stuff-the imitation stuff never tastes as good. I reall like orange and peppermint too!

Nope! Vanilla lover here. ice cream, on down the line. good with cinnamon. Good in coffee creamer. Original is the best. (Just my opinion)lol

See, I like the original as well, but I would choose almond over vanilla anyday. Although I do love a nice vanilla ice cream. ^_^

Oh I still love vanilla! I never seem to grow tired of it, although I do love almond too. I even put vanilla pods in my sugar jar to add flavour when I stir it into my tea. I have a "Christmas Cookie" Yankee Candle Jar burning right now. Lots of vanilla!
