It's just a matter of playing the game correctly.
Get in the right program and get your initial investment back ASAP. Then play with the profits. It's a bit like gambling. Knowing when to get in and get out. It's easy to get in profit and then play with "house" money!
Don't just throw your cash in the first program you see that has an impressive web page either. Spend some time on the forums and see which programs have the best reputation. It doesn't hurt to diversify into 3 or 4 either and spread the risk out.

tried one a year or so ago called netsurf or surfjunky or some silly thing, they folded just before I reached payout :(

My own personal opinion is that it is a very lucrative means of making money as long as you're smart about it. Don't get greedy, listen to your friends (and your gut).
Most people who dismiss it have never tried it.

Yes. I tried it with 12dailypro. And it was one of my happy surfing day because I have made some money from yet it so sad when they have to leave because of Scampay. My dreams suddenly vanished with that Stormpay...

Yes and it was good while it lasted. I was a member of about 12 and made a lot money. Then 12dailypro took the hit and they were all gone before I knew what happened. I stayed with DadNDaves until the last day for them to pay and they too pulled the plug. I got bit by a few but made enough on the others to onlu lose about $50.00.
