How long did it take you to pick out your wedding pics?

When my sister got married, it took her almost a year to pick out the final pictures she wanted in her album. I just got married in May 2007 and I think I just finalized my picture choices (have to verify one more time) after 7 months.
So, how long did it take you? And Why? I had time to do it, but a lot of times when I had free time, I was mentally too tired to concertrate on the task. I didn't want to just delete pics from my album hap-hazardly. I wanted to make sure it was well balanced and had a balanced # of pics from the ceremony, formal poses, and the reception. Whenever I had a choice between poses, I wanted to look at each one close up to make sure we all looked good. Finally, I wanted to make sure I didn't pick the same poses over and over but instead threw in some variety.
In the end, I think it's worth it to spend the time and I'm sure my photographer will do a great job with the book. It makes sense to me that I needed that much time to pick out the pictures so that I could do it in sessions. Now let me hear your stories :)

We had all of our pictures burned on to 2 discs. What I did was upload them to snapfish and looked through them a few times and just ordered the pictures I liked. Took maybe a few days to go through them all. Plus since I have them on disk and I can just order more prints.

Well this is different. I get all the pics on CD too and can print whatever I want. However as part of the package I get 70-80 pics put into an album. My sister and I got the new style album where the pics are actually printed on the pages in an artsy way so that sometimes a pic can take up a full page and sometimes there will be multiple on a page.
So yeah, prints are easy to do, but picking the pics for my album is tough!!

Personally, I would not want my album done that way. I am doing my entire album by hand.
