I had a N-Gage QD (NOKIA) phone with me that i absolutely loved. Someone flicked it from my bag while i was returning to my room from college. I ve tried various methods to track it since then and i ve been totally unsuccessfull. Is there any method to get it back??? Have you got a stolen phone back before ?? Why do they steal phones??????????? :( I lost 5000 contacts with the phone.. boo hoo

I am so sorry to hear it. It is a real bad news. If you dial your cellphone but can't reach anybody. Then perhaps it is too difficult to find it back, I am afraid to say.

Actually whoeveer took it , switched it off almost immediately. So i couldnt do anything. My network operator did not help me in any way. They wouldnt even tell me which circle the phone was in ....

Yeah, they won't be able to help. Only if your phone is switched on they can tell you in which circle the phone is in. That too not all service providers will give you the information. If your phone has theft tracking, then you can give a complaint with your IMEI number of the phone, then people may be able to find it.

oh my god! 5000 contacts getting lost could have left me being very angry! had the robber come in a vehicle and nabbed it from u? if i was u i would have chased the robber as quickly as i can because losing important data is something i wouldn't like experiencing

Losing a cellphone is very hard to accept. Especially if it has a lot of important contacts there. You should have took care of it. I think there is no way to track your lost cellphone.

Actually i believe there is some kind of tracking system available. I m not sure if civilians use it though. i could not make a backup of my contacts at that time since i didnt have my computer with me. but now i take weekly backups!!!
