why some people prefers mobile to computers

My girlfriend loves to sms her friends and family and she completely lacks interest for computers. Mobiles are more dynamic:P
Even when she went away visit her folks, she would prefer me to call her than use Yahoo Messenger. Her cell phone has camera, plays mp3, lots of memory ...
I am old fashioned computer guy, my mobile its pretty basic and sometimes is not easy to type a message in it.
What about you? Is yours like this? If you prefer mobile phones, why?

Oh I much much prefer computers. Some people just aren't computer people though. To each there own huh? :)

Mobile phone is good to use everyday, you could have a contact with people wherever you are. With mobile phone you can have a lot of things: camera, video calls, internet (with WAP or you can go to the internet with notebook and mobile phone). So if you travel a lot is better to have a good cellphone, I think.
