I never really got into this program but this year I think I'm going to try to keep up with it. So much happened last year that seemed interesting to me but I didn't really understand that I want to be "in on" all the fun this year! lol! I'm especially looking forward to Simon Cowell's antics because I did catch some of his little remarks last year. Are you a fan of American Idol and are looking forward to it this year? Is there a specific part of it that you enjoy the most?

I love American Idol and i watch it every year, but last year was a huge disappointment to me, hopefully this year will be better...I would like to say this about Simon Cowell, i do agree he is BLUNT,and can sometimes seem rude, but mostly if you will notice he is usually always right..He could care less about what others think of him, he will give his opinion regardless, and he does not even try to be nice..I really like Simon a lot because he is not a pleaser whatsoever, he is there to judge and he does his job and cares less if anyone likes what he has to say.if you watch it this year ans notice the things Simon says he is most always right...I respect Simons opinions most of all, that guy cannot be bought...I am a fan , and i will be watching,no mylot while American Idol is on Tv...

You are so right about Simon and that's what I think makes him so "endearing" to everyone watching him. He doesn't sugar coat anything and just tells it the way he sees it. He is a riot!

Yes! I missed most of it last year but with all the reruns I will be a devote fan this year! I am ready for the auditions, the jokes, the good and the bad! Even's Simon's humor will be a welcome sight over reruns!

I'm so much into reruns that I'm looking forward to something new myself. Simon will be a welcome sight for me also.

I may just watch the finals on Internet. I don't watch TV. I do have TV, but only to watch movies. For some reason I don't like TV shows and TV news. I am much better on Internet...:)

I always look forward to the first few weeks getting to see the good, the bad, and the ugly. I try to figure out who might actually win it from the good and who might get a crazy contract from the bad like William Hung did. But towards the end, I don't watch much.

I'm a fan and would love to watch it...I never missed an episode before...but I won't be allowed to watched it this time. THEY control what is on tv and THEY don't like anything that I like. I really hate this...

Oh, no! Even tv? Does it ever end with THEM? Honey, you have to do something about your situation and stop living this way. It's not normal and definitely not good for you.

I admit that I was a fan of the show, American Idol for the first 3 seasons, ctry. However, I began slacking off during the fourth season as it conflicted with the timing of some of my favorite shows. All of my favorite shows are on opposite American Idol on a different channel, and I rarely give up a favorite show. Simon is indeed a piece of work. Ultimately, I think the reason I began to lose interest in the show is because I thought some of the more talented singers did not get a fair shake. Sure, a fair amount of the process of picking the winner depends on the viewing audience, but some do not make it that far that should.

I hated American Idol for years. Then two years ago somehow my mom got me invested into it and I got hooked. It sucked. So last year I was again hooked and this year I'm sure I will be also. I hate it but I love it at the same time. Plus it got me hooked on House which is one of my favorite tv shows, so it's done some good afterall.

I watch it if I'm home or find it on the TV. I don't go looking for it, although I do enjoy it. I like the very beginning of it when they show all the funny people trying out to be on the show. It's a good laugh then. Also I like tow atch it towards the end when there are only a few contestants left. Then you get to hear the really good ones. I am looking forward to it again this year. But I don't watch a lot of TV so I may not see all the shows again.

My husband and I love to watch the tryouts with all of those people who think they are such good singers but they are terrible. I have only watched the whole season 3 times the year that Ruebon won the year Fantasa won and the year Carrie Underwood won. I don't know if I will watch the whole seaon or not. It depends on if there is someone I am routing for makes it through.

I must say that I saw a few episodes throughout the ages. I saw a few of the interviews and tryouts. I hate that show. It is just dumb. In the beginning you don't see much, you hear all of the horrible ones. The show isn't really about who is the best singer, but rather who is the most popular.

Ive never really watched the whole thing. I catch a few episodes here and there but that has been the extent of it for me. This year I'm going to try to watch more of it.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of American Idol, though I do watch it when I remember to when it is on. :P I have watched it since the first season, though I didn't really get into the first season until it was down to the final 24 or so. That's when it usually gets interesting to me. Last years show was a bit of a disappointment when they had contestants that kept making it through to the next rounds even though they couldn't sing all that well. I know that there is the 'look' that is wanted when it comes to singers, but come on, it got a bit ridiculous when looks were all that seemed to matter. It's not a beauty show after all. :P

I have watched American Idol since the first season. I watch it from the first to the last show. My favorite part ot the show is after they get down to the top 30 and then the top 10. I even went to see the top 10 in concert the last two years. The concerts are really good.

I like watching the first episodes of each idol. Thats when we get to see all the horrible attempts at signing from all sorts of different characters. Quite funny. I don't really watch the rest because I never found the talent to be that exceptional. The winner is usually good though.

I'll watch the first few episodes where the auditions are held. I think those eps are the best. But after that, probably not. AI will just churn out one more bubble gum sounding teen pop wanna be who will have one hit single then fall off the charts and out of the limelight and won't ever be seen or heard from again.
