It still occured to me that, there's a lot of hackers around here online. And I am very cautious of using a public PC(Used at work or in an internet cafe) to pay my bills online or purchase item through my credit card online. I had this instance, wayback 2003.I was employed in one of the highly specialized hospital in the Middle East.I usually utilized using PC at work to pay my exam fees online.I had used my credit card for this. Then after a month, I noted I had in my credit card statement that I had purchased US$300 item which I know didn't made.In the bill it usually reflect which place you purchased the item.It says Georgia USA.I was shocked, because I never had my vacation and never been to Georgia. I reported this to my bank and complained but they won't entertain me and very insensitive of them not to help me.In turn, I called the visa center in the US by overseas phone call and reported the fraud. It took me at least three months to refund the money as payment of my credit card is by debit from my monthly salary account. Of course, my overseas call wasn't free and a lot of follow ups. the tedious process came to an end when I finally decided to cancel my card. What about you guys, have you been hacked before? Is it worth utilizing your credit card conveniently online being aware of the imposing danger of hackers today?Share your views and story about this.

I don't have any credit cards, but I know it happens every day to thousands of people around the world. The experts say that these scammers can get everything they need from your PC through e-mails. The bottom line is, if you open their e-mail you're giving them everything they need. If you're not 100% sure who it's from...DELETE IT! Glad you got your money back, but you might not be so lucky next time.
