"Lazy Eye" for short is my issue. And the thing is my eyes take turns slowing down sometime. But it's mostly my right eye. Are there any home treatments I can do myself? I know some people where patches to focus the weak eye. So what Ido is cover my eye, with my hand, and try to read or do normal things. I only do this in the house though, so not to look too weird. Will that help even a fraction. And is there anything else I can try. Short of getting glasses. Even though I need them.

I have a very mild case of Amblyopia and I have always been told to just do eye exercises. For example, since you right eye is weak sit to the right of you television so that your eye muscles have to focus more. There are also exercises you can look up online. If you need glasses, you should head to the eye Dr. You can get an exam nowadays really cheap - $50 or less - and glasses fairly cheap as well. You should not let your eye sight go.

Thanks for the advice. I just don't really like doctors of any kind so I stay away. It's just that I'm very self-conscious and that's my major thing.
