I do not need to know how much you have stockpilled as i think that's against the rules, but do you try to save up your payout untill you have enough to buy something you want or need ? I have mine set higher then 10, and i was just wondering if there is anyone else who does the same thing.

I have mine set at $10 for right now. If I hit that for this month then I'll take but if I don't I'll let it roll over to January when I planned to raise it up to the highest amount ($100) I think and let it accumulate. S/o has a nasty e bay habit so everything I earned here so far got frittered away every month rather than being there for Christmas like I planned. So when I do finally hit payout in 2008 it will be one big amount that I can play with before he gets to it.

How come you dont have your own paypal account? my hubby and i each have our own, but we also still have seperate bank accounts. I dont work anymore, so really mines just for paying rent and i get my baby bonus directly deposited in there.

Because I can't get a verified paypal without my own seperate bank account and they won't let me use our bank account to verify it because he already verified his paypal with it. One paypal per bank account regardless of who's name(s) is on it.

That sucks, couldnt you open up a bank account in your name ? I dunno what you have there for banking, but the bank i have is a NO FEE bank account. The only time i get charged is if i use the ATM from a bank other then the bank the account belongs to. I can do any amount of debit purachses too. It's called PC banking. www.pcfinancial.com or .ca, i think its only in canada though.

I have mine set at $10. I like getting my small payments every month. I also don't want to risk loosing all of my earnings by letting them build up and then one day coming back to mylot and the site has been shut down. Stuff like that has happened to me on other sites and I've lost a good amount of cash over it.

I set payout limit to minimum for any program I'm in so for Mylot it is $10. My reasoning is simple and based on experience - hard experience!! Programs come and go and go without warning so I take my money earned out at the first opportunity. I had one program where I was just short of $400 and decided to take out a round sum. The program closed the next week and I lost the lot! The charged a minimum fee every time I withdrew so I thought I would save on charges - big mistake.

When I first joined mylot I had set the payout to be $25, then a little later (a week, a month?) I set it for $50 as I wanted to be able to get more than a measly $10 when it came time for payout. But as soon as I got close to minimum payout the first time around I changed it again, this time to the minimum payout of $10. One of the reasons I set it to the minimum was to see if mylot really paid. But I also wanted the money I earned sent to me instead of it sitting in my mylot account as I'd hate to loose it if Mylot were to ever close down. Could you imagine if you had the payout set to $50 and you were just about there, then BOOM! Mylot shuts down? You'd loose out on that money. That would certainly suck, wouldn't it? If I were to have kept the payout set to $50 I still would be guessing if Mylot was real or not as I haven't reached that amount in the 10+ months I've been here. Knowing that they (MyLot) really pays helps keep me coming back. Otherwise I probably would have moved on to a different site by now (paying or not).

I keep mine set at the $10 mark and let it build in my paypal account. There it earns a little interest so it adds up bit by bit.

I have mine set at $10. I have only recently started posting within the past few days, so I am not sure how long it will take to reach that level. If it doesn't take too long, I might increase that level.
