I work 5 days a week from 3pm to 11pm at tim hortons I do not have my drivers license so my husband drives me to work everyday. Our son who is 21 months also comes along. My husband usually hangs around for awhile since we live quite aways away. He brings our son in and puts him in the high chair to feed him. Everyone who comes in knows them and come over to talk to and play with our son. Sometimes if he falls asleep my husband will wait outside in the truck and let him sleep. He never leaves him alone in the truck. Someone told me last week that they heard someone say that they were going to report us for neglect because our son is in the high chair or he is sleeping in the car seat to often. I think people should mind there own business because he is definitly not neglected. My husband is with him the whole time and he plays with him and keeps him occupied. He never leaves him alone anywhere. Our son is 21 months and he weighs 37 pounds I think that far from being neglected. What is your opinion on this.

I'm a little unclear on this. Are you saying that your husband and son stays there the whole time while your working? **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

That does not sound like neglect to me - he is not there for the whole 8 hours right?

Some people just don't understand what is going on. It sounds to me like your son is absolutely fine and if your husband is caring for him while you work, then people need to mind their own business. Let them report you, it's not like they are gonna find anything wrong. So what, your husband sticks around with your son while you work. i see nothing wrong with that and it's not like your leaving the baby at home while you work by himself. There is a difference between keeping your son out and about then not taking care of him. Some babies really enjoy not being home, so just smile and go on. You know your not neglecting your child, so don't let it bother you when someone says something like t hat. God bless
