mis-using the funds

Is the funds collected for the charitable organisations are correctly utilised or else misused.. cos i have seen and come across many orgainstions and individuals use the funds which are given by the Donars for a charity purpose.
I think the problem arise like by selecting the correct person? just b'cos of that the person one who are really have the heart for serving is not getting the oppurtunity..what do u think?

Being extremely socially active in my youth in different parts of the World, I have had multiple personal opportunities to witness facts of the funds misuse by charities and various non-profit organizations. I am not even meaning Africa, where about 10% of the donations are received by the target people. In Europe and Middle East the share, arriving to the destination, is higher, but still most of the funds are going to the wrong direction.
