How will your ring in the New Year 2008 ?

Time flies by and 2007 has just flown. I plan to go dancing in my club and ring in the New Year with a lot of fun and dancing with family and friends. I shall also take a moment off to offer prayers for the New Year and to ask God to take care of the less fortunate. Happy New Year to all mylotters.

wow. that's sounds like a fun way to welcome the new year! i have always wanted to go dancing and singing while welcoming the new year but its not just the tradition here in our family.
we only stay together at home and wait for the clock to strike twelve. and then we have money in all our pockets as we wait. when the clock strikes twelve we would light some fireworks and then the eating would start and then relatives from nearby houses would come one by one and give their New year's greetings. ^__^ and the celebration would continue until people will get tired one by one and go to sleep. ^__^ some would stay awake until it is morning.

Here, all the clubs, gymkhanas, hotels, open spaces are jam packed. The tickets are sky high and people dance away into the night with live bands. At 12 am, there are fireworks and everyone wishes each other and dancing and eating begins again. This last till 5 or 6 am. First is a holiday so we all sleep through. Anyway, have a wonderful New Year and keep in touch.
