Which version of Internet Explorer you feel comfortable with? I am comfortable with IE6 as IE7 has lot of security obstacles. It also has some nice things to say about. It has the Privacy Report and also the most Phishing. The great thing to say about IE7 is the tab browsing. You need not open several windows of IE session. You can add tabs in a same window and browse lot of pages on a single window session. Share your experience of using IE6 and IE7...

Hi... I am not used to Lap top. I have a desktop computer. But still I would try to install Mozilla and compare the speed with IE7... thanks for your comments.

Personally, I am very much comfortable using IE7 when compared to IE6. IE7 is very secured to use when compared to the older version. As we all know that there are a lot of viruses and malwares on the internet, so we need to be very careful when surfing on the net. :-)

I had tried IE and gave up. I tried Fire Fox Mozilla and it was hacked. Now I am using opera. I am quite happy.

Tabbed browsing has been available on Firefox and Opera looooooooooong before Microsoft decides to put that into IE7... And obviously, alternatives like Firefox and Opera are waaaaaaay better than any IE put together... Not to mention, even Maxthon is a lot better than IE even though its using IE engine...

I am using IE7. As you have very correctly indicated that IE7 has the facility of opening with multiple tabs in the same window and that is indeed very important for me for browsing multiple sites at a time. Earlier I was using Mozilla for having this particular facility but now I use both.

i used normally internet explorer 5. the version it was with windows xp cd...........i never done internet explorer updates and i wont do that in the future. i even dont use internet explorer. simply because it suxz in any way. all viruses i ever had on my computer came with internet explorer. yes, you may say / think where was you anti virus program ? well, i use opera and there you don't need an anti virus program because nearly all viruses are made for the internet explorer. if you are using opera as your only browser you are way more safely surfing at the internet.
