Around 10,000 years ago cro-magnon Man was walking around but was replace by Man, We read in Genisis that God created man from the dust of the earth, Did you know of a creation story 4000 years older than that in our bible? It comes from the Sumarian/Babalonina texts called the Enuma Elish. Wher the gods wanted a worker to tend their garden becouse they were tiered, Here is part of the cration story: “…to achieve the feat Enki suggested that a ‘being that already exists’, Ape woman, be used to create the Lulu Amelu (‘the mixed worker’) by ‘binding’ upon the less evolved beings ‘the mold of the gods’. The goddess Sud purified the ‘essence’ of a young male Anunnaki (those who from heaven to earth came); she mixed it into the egg of an Ape woman. The fertilized egg was then implanted in the womb of a female Anunnaki, for the required period of pregnancy. When the ‘mixed creature’ was born, Sud lifted him up and shouted: ‘I have created! My hands have made it!’” Any thoughts?

If I remember correctly, the nephilim (giants) mentioned in the Bible were said to be the children of the Annunaki (men of God) and human females (daughters of man). These people are mentioned in Genesis somewhere. Annunaki were also supposed to be related (or the same in some stories) gods/goddesses of ancient Egypt.

You are correct, but the term in the bible Nephlim that is wormgfully translated "Giants" is better translated as "they who came from above" and Bini Elohim, "the Sons of God", and is actualy a plural form of El "God", Their is a book called Enoch that was left out of the bible, it is an ancaint text that talks indepth of these "sons of God" that came down from the sky (the second heaven - space) and made man worship them and took Human wives and bore childeren that were very ungoddly and were also worshiped as gods or dimigods. They began to eat man as they could not be satisfied, and human sacrifice was rampent, This is why God destroyed the earth "that land". Thanks for your imput.

If this is true than the Bible obviously can't be true, at least the part about God creating the heavens and earth. So may questions, so many mysteries; will we ever solve it? I doubt it but I hope we keep trying! Annie

The bible darived much of it's text from the Sumarian texts. The Bible can still be true. Only a new way to interpet it maybe?

I think these are just creations of a prolific mind. As regards the book of Enoch, we should remember that Enoch was the seventh from Adam and Noah was the 10th and when Noah was 600 years old, the great flood occurred. Enoch was taken by God into heaven and while he was on earth, God did not command him to write any book unlike Moses who was commanded by God to write things. Nothing was also mentioned that Noah took a book written by Enoch. The flood destroyed every breathing creation on earth and the water stays about 150 days and even if there was a book, it was surely destroyed.

Hi SEOGUY, All of this is really myth, including the Biblical creation story. It is interesting to note that there are many such stories from different parts of the world. Thank you for this. Blessings.
