Coby Video ipod help

I have Windows Media Player 10 I have a Coby Touchpad video Ipod. I've converted files to the CORRECT format. I CANNOT get the CONVERTED files to the synch column to be put onto the ipod. I get the normal files into the synch side, and click synch, it DOES NOT WORK. it says "Error" and the normal files cannot be put onto the video ipod. The CONVERTED files will not even go into the synch column of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 10! HELLLPPP this is brand new and it was an xmas gift this year. ppllzzz help meh! I followed the directions in the directions booklett... so.. wtf?? im frustrated!
