So my boyfriend, told me that I had to open one of my presents yesterdday while the kids were gone (one from my previous marriage and one from his). I opened the present and it was a great leather jacket.
I tried it on the jacket and tapped the pockets which is something that I do whenever I put a jacket on, I don't know why. I felt a box in the box and said "what is this?" I pulled the jacket out and in the ring box. I just sat there staring at it, I could bring myself to open it. He reached over opened the box and said "will you marry me".
I was speachless and just stared at him. After crying a little and regaining my composure, I looked at him and said "I have to call my Dad". Realizing that I had not given him an answer, I finally told him yes.

Sound like a movie in real scene. Anyway, it is really what we feel is somewhat relieves us the tension. In relieving tension or fear we call someone to ease it up (your dad). How great love story that you have gone, just like 16, so sweet and young. At this age of ours, we experience the sweeter instance of this experience, especially that the someone is your beloved (boyfriend). Making you speechless is not a sign that you love him this much but you love him and you are caught by surprise. These are moments that we treasure, "surprises". We can tell our generations for this and it will be told for the next generation to come. "Yes" is the word to relieve you with the tension and chill that you felt when you opened the box, it might be proper or not but we have to see because life is full of surprises that no one will expect. In your wedding to come, you will be surprise again. How long will this surprises will end? As long as you stay with each other, it will never end. As long as you will love him or surprise him, you will be surprised again. Surprises are much sweeter than planned or already known event to happen. Surprises are mostly accident free. We should always look at the bright side of any surprises. Whatever you decision is, just pray always to GOD that your right man is always MR RIGHT. You will be taking your vows to him, I wish you both a BLESSED FAMILY and may GOD shower you with all the blessings you desire in your heart. GOD Bless you always....

Wow congradulations. I never had a proposal like that ever. Were you expecting him to propose. How wonderful a surprise especially around Christmas. I think I would have loved to have my son there too. One of my friends proposed to her fiance and used their infant son to propose. I thought that was really cute.

its a great gift for you, if me maybe that is the best gift i ever had, but the think is you really do to re-married again, did your kids happy for that, see what is good for you & your kids. it must be you will take the side of your kids at let them understand so you will finenally have a great family once again wish you luck & happy holidays.

wow..that's so so sweet for you girl..how i wish that i will finally meet my future husand..i'm also dreaming of that kind of proposal..with lots of flowers around, candle lightening, sweet music... but girl, i'm sure you really don't expect that he will said that to you right? hahaha congrats to you, hope that you will have a good and happy life together..
