Great Book on Writing

For those aspiring (even veteran) writers out there, I wanted to share this book I picked up at B&N -- Hooked by Les Edgerton. The purpose of the book is getting readers and, especially, editors hooked on your story from page one. It's all about writing great beginners that are going to entice your readers to stick around. But more importantly it's going to get your stories read by editors. I'm only partially done with the book and I have to say I think I have learned a great deal about writing already. The book has told me why I should start the beginning of a novel a certain way and it really makes a lot of sense. You guys should check it out.

Oh,sounds great! I must have a try. I'm always worring about how to "seduce" the readers.

Thanks for that information. I have added it to my list of recommended books on writing. I will also share it with my writing group so anyone with money can purchase it and then we can share it amongst each other. We are starving artists, you know. ;)
