where to download avast?

I'd suggest you download Avast! from the vendor's site: http://www.avast.com/ You need a new registration key (don't worry, it's free) every year, which you can get there.

Well, I went to java.com and tried all night and day to download JavaMath, so sometimes it's just not that easy. I'm not real profficient, have an old laptop, and am trying to configure it to Windows XP, but a lot of things have to be added first...like Gap. Perhaps there was a fear of going online to see if the download was free and safe, because an antivirus wasn't in place in the meantime?

the free version of avast, is avast home edition 4.8, its free, and you need to register to the site, and they will give you own serial number or code.. try here http://www.avast.com
